QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, performance testing, and scripting using modern tools and frameworks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications through effective test automation strategies.
- Location: Remote (Open to candidates from LATAM)
- Position Type: Full-Time (6-month contract with possibility of extension)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester, Automation Tester o similar role.
- Proven experience creating scripts with Playwright.
- Solid experience with JMeter for load testing.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, Node.js, and web technologies (CSS, HTML).
- Experience writing SQL scripts.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
- Experience writing and executing Test Cases.
- Understanding of Test Matrix design and maintenance.
- Experience creating and maintaining test scripts with Cypress.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Develop, support, and extend JMeter scripts for load and performance testing.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to refine and adapt testing strategies.
- Write and maintain SQL scripts to support data validation and testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
Education
- Computer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
