We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will define and implement robust testing practices, contributing to consistent and scalable QA strategies across engineering teams.

This position is fully remote and open to candidates based in México or anywhere in LATAM. 
Project duration: 6 months. 📆

Requirements  

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role. 
  • Proven Experience doing UI Automation and writing Unit Testing.
  • Experience integrating Unit or UI Automation testing with CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with GitHub.
  • Capable of creating and updating technical documentation about Quality Optimization best practices.
  • Experience using JavaScript / TypeScript with Playwright.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter) and practices.
  • Understanding of Manual QA testing processes. 
  • Experience consolidating test metrics (Unit, API, UI, Manual), 
  • Advanced English communication skills. 
Desirable
  • Familiar with Scrum or Kanban agile methodologies.
  • Experience defining and maintaining Test Matrix.
Main Activities
  • Work with engineering leads on building an approach to Unit Testing.
  • Create a standardized approach to UI Automation. Implement consistency, create standard templates, document processes.
  • Create standard projects in GitHub which can be the basis for automation projects.
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Gather and centralize metrics that different teams are generating for API, UI, Unit, Performance and Manual testing.
  • Write and maintain documentation on all the processes that are going to be established.

Education

  • Computer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
